Information in the app

Your saved apps and downloaded market-data cache stay on your device. AppTruffle does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifier.

Data delivery

The app downloads a read-only market snapshot from Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process ordinary network information, such as an IP address and request metadata, to deliver and protect that file. We do not use that information to profile you or track you across apps.

Optional discovery alerts

If you enable notifications, AppTruffle checks downloaded market snapshots on your device for newly seen apps. Notification preferences, previously seen app identifiers, and alert timing stay on-device. This version uses local notifications and iOS background refresh; it does not register an APNs device token with us. You can turn discovery alerts off in About or change permission in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions

If you start or restore an AppTruffle Pro subscription, Apple processes the payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase history so it can validate the transaction, restore access, prevent fraud, and provide subscription analytics. We do not send RevenueCat your name, email address, advertising identifier, searches, or saved apps.

Purchase history is used for app functionality and analytics. It is not linked to an identity known to AppTruffle and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. RevenueCat processes this information as our service provider under its privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Saved items and cached market data can be removed by deleting AppTruffle. Anonymous subscription records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to operate purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of an AppTruffle RevenueCat record through the contact below.
